Luis von Ahn is a Guatemalan computer scientist and entrepreneur, best known as the co-founder and CEO of Duolingo, the world’s most popular language-learning app. Earlier in his career, he pioneered CAPTCHAs and reCAPTCHA—technologies that used human input for online security while simultaneously digitising books.
